My Project
All of my students have learning disabilities and the odds are stacked against them; nevertheless, myself and my students work hard daily to close the achievement gap. My students are struggling readers who have a desire and will to become better readers. Research says, students who are not reading proficiently by the end of 3rd grade will be end up in jail as young adults. The Science of Reading will help my students to become proficient readers and confident learners. The Science of Reading is researched based and is proving to be effective for all students.
