Most of my students struggle with reading.. Unlike most people, my scholars don't see letters, words or numbers as others. If I receive the listening center, along with the books, and cds I know my students will benefit greatly. Scholars will take part in a listening center activity daily. Over time their confidence will improve along with their ability to comprehend and recount/retell stories. Exposing students to different reading materials and learning styles help to keep students engaged. The reading center will allow students to see and hear stories from other reads and it will help them to better recognize not only letters and letter sounds, but also the blend of words.
