My Project

Help us kick off the 2025-2026 school year with a fun superhero reading event.

We are planning to do a month-long reading intervention series in September to get our students excited about reading!

Part of this event will be teaching students about why reading is important and how reading is a superpower.

Many of our students are behind grade levels in reading and we want to instill in them the power of reading and help close the achievement gap. The first part of this event will be giving all of our students capes and masks and reading books to the students about superpowers and the importance of being kind, empathic and grateful.

We plan and hope to have many events throughout the year about reading and hope to start with dedicating the month of September to create fun reading events. Thank you for helping support this project.
