Help me give my students the folders/labels to keep track of their work throughout the week, as well as the card stock we will need to have to make spell books and potion books for Fantasy Week.
I have a classroom of students who love to learn. They come to school excited to learn every day. They are all very respectful and very well behaved. My students are kind and caring to one another and they encourage each other. They are grateful to be attending school face-to-face and I want to make this unusual experience a positive experience for them.
My class consists of 24 remarkable students.Of those 24, two receive resource services, four are in speech, and two students see our school psychologist.
All of my students work really hard and try their very best.
My Project
My team creates the most magical experience for our third graders. We read fantasy stories, focusing on the world-famous Harry Potter series. We show students that reading can be magical. We are immersed in reading, writing, and experimenting in the fantasy world. The resources I've requested will help the students to be more engaged during the week.
One of the activities the students do during the week is a potions class.
In the potions class, students combine science and literature using real-world ingredients to create fantastic potions. In addition to making the potion students are also using their creative writing and their informational writing to complete their potions book.
In the past, we have purchased the supplies with our own money. This donation will mean so much to us. Students come back years later saying they still have their potions and that this was one of their favorite memories of third grade. It warms my heart to know that it means so much to them.
