Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students are struggling and reluctant readers. The requested items will help ensure the literacy block is exciting and engaging for all learners.
By incorporating reading games and increasing the use of foldables as a means to respond to literature, students will be engaged in learning and become more eager to read. These materials will be used in a variety of ways, such as during whole group and small group instruction, collaborative learning groups, and individualized learning opportunities.
My students are always encouraged to do their best, and regardless of their reading level at the beginning of the school year, they give their all to make progress.
