This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager to learn and to engage in literacy through different means and in a diverse set of literature. Through this project I would like to make sure that my students have access to books both in English and in Spanish which are titles that I am sure would trigger their interests. I have also included books in CD which would give all students access to a diverse set of literature regardless of their reading abilities in either language. Students will use these materials for independent reading and to be able to check titles for reading pleasure at home as well.
