Building foundational skills such as letter knowledge and blending are an integral part of students being able to read when they are older
Reading should be something that students love and look forward to!
I like to encourage students to read and also try to engage them with fun activities so that they do not become frustrated when learning. By giving them activities that they consider fun, they're more willing to participate and will remember what they are learning.
These games will engage my students and allow them to have fun while also learning valuable skills.
