Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 5th grade in a Title I school with diverse learners. Some of my students are classified gifted while others were previously EL learners. My students understand that I will push them to be the best that they can, but while giving them support and making the learning fun.

My Project

Over the years, students borrow books from the classroom library. Some books are returned but some are not. Please help me replenish some of my missing titles. We are also short a class set of a few titles.

My students love reading and I want to keep adding books that they are interested in.

I am continuing to grow the diversity in my classroom library so that all students feel represented in the books they read or those which are read to them. Your donation could inspire a student to find a love of reading.
