My Students

My students are excited about stories and love to write like authors. My students are eager to learn. They enjoy retelling and acting stories out. They have unique personalities. They are creative and full of energy.

In our class we have students ranging from 3 years old to 6 years old.

The students come to school everyday ready to learn and have fun. They love to listen to stories. They are full of questions and are eager to learn. Each one is sweet and loving.

My Project

We love to read and write in our class. We love to model our writing after authors that we read. My students need books to model their writing after. We love to read books and then try to write like the authors do. My students will learn how to write "How to" books, narratives, informational text, and fairy tales. Having these books will give us stories to model our writing after.

The students use the books that I read to them to write their own stories.

They make their own books by first listening to and reading books by other authors so they can become authors too!
