Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Kindergartners are always hungry for learning! We love to learn by sharing books, playing and exploring. Every student learns at their own pace. I love promoting literacy in the classroom with weekly themes. We will focus on Dr. Seuss's books during Read Across America week. We are reaching our end of year and would like to reward students with this timeless classic room transformation. We will use this series to create fun literacy themed class activities.

I want to help create my bilingual students very own home library.

Books are fun at home too! Community libraries are not always accessible for families and this gives parents an opportunity to read books they have at home.

Learning does not stop after school. This project would build a positive learning home-school connection. These Dr. Seuss books, bookmark, tote bag and plush keepsake will remind students that Here or There, Reading is Fun Everywhere!
