Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love being able to give my students a fun and welcoming environment to learn and play! Seeing the looks on their faces when they walk into their classroom and there are new decorations or a fun plan for the day visible makes all of the hard work worth it.
My biggest goal is to cultivate a love for reading in our youngest scholars before they can actually read.
I love creating a fun environment for my students to start creating a bond with books. Even if they are too young to actually read the words, it is never too early to show kids that books can take them to places they never imagined.
These materials will help me bring the world of Dr. Seuss to my classroom to celebrate Read Across America Week. Throughout the week we will read the stories and transform our classroom into a Seussical world where magic can happen.
