My students enjoy looking at books during the school day. I have noticed the things they really like reading about, such as dinosaurs, community helpers, and animals. We would love to have more of these books to look at in our classroom. We don't get money to spend in our classrooms in my district, so I have to buy these items from my pocket.
We can use more non-fiction books in our classroom for the students to explore independently.
I also love to read aloud books to them daily, and it is super helpful to read about topics such as social emotional learning since they are young, only 3-5 years old.
