This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
3rd grade in general is a huge step, but reading comprehension is an even larger one! With reading comprehension being a heavy hitter this school year, I have bonded together with the other 3rd grade teachers on my team to decide what tools and resources would be the best for our students.
And wouldn't you know, reading comprehension books came out on top!
I used these last year and it was all the rave from teachers to students, and even parents! What I loved the most were how interested my students were due to the variety of topics, to include the fact they were learning so much.
