My Students
The students at our school are a wonderful, diverse group of children that love to read! Our students come from a variety of cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. Our school community represents more than 30 countries. We are a community of engaged learners, whom are focusing this year on growing our love of reading!
"Learning to Serve, Serving to Learn " is our school motto.
Our students are engaged in lessons focused on giving back to the community and creating an inclusive environment.
My Project
Every child deserves the opportunity to get excited about a great book. These books will engage and motivate my students to become life long readers. The series on this list are engaging, funny, relevant and offer every child in my class, the experience of becoming a chapter book reader
These books will help me, not only to teach my kids how to read, but more importantly to LOVE to read!
This love of text, can lead to endless opportunities, and a better chance at life. Reading is a key to academic success and builds their confidence. I would love your help to do this!
