My students are funny, smart, hard working and lovers of literature.

I read, we read, they READ! Reading is everywhere in our classroom. My students work hard to learn new things and meet their goals every single day. They have taught me to set the bar high...because they will reach it!

My Project

Reading is part of everything. We, of course, read during our literature block, but books can take you places in all areas of curriculum. Having math books in the classroom will allow students to learn math concepts through literature and also learn that reading isn't only about interesting stories but can also teach you new things! My students love to read and I can't wait to have more math literature in my classroom so I can connect that love when we are learning new concepts in math.

We all win when students are learning.

Math literature will allow me to introduce and teach math concepts in an engaging way. Students success is number one, which is something that will increase with more math literature in the classroom!
