Help me give my students new books they will enjoy in my classroom. I have one wheelchair bound student and would like to have the cart to hold all the things needed in one place.

My Project
Books help my students strengthen vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency, and they are always eager to dive into new stories. Reading sparks their curiosity and opens their minds to new ideas, characters, and experiences. While they enjoy the books we have, a larger variety would give them even more opportunities to explore different genres, cultures, and perspectives. This variety would not only support their academic growth but also expand their thinking and imagination. I want to give my students access to books that challenge and inspire them, helping them grow into confident and thoughtful readers.
My goal is to expand our classroom library with engaging, high-interest books at a variety of reading levels so that every student can find something they enjoy and connect with.
Having access to books that match their interests and abilities helps build confidence and encourages a love for reading. A well-stocked library gives my students the tools they need to practice, explore, and grow as readers. It supports their individual learning needs and fosters a positive reading environment, helping them develop into confident, lifelong readers.
I teach Special Education, and every small success—whether it’s reading a word, a sentence, or finishing an entire book—brings immense joy to my students and to me. Their excitement and pride in their accomplishments make each day deeply rewarding. In my classroom, every achievement is celebrated as a big success, no matter how small it may seem. These moments of progress build confidence and motivation, reminding me why I love what I do. Watching my students grow and believe in themselves is what makes my work truly meaningful.
