This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My high schoolers are my heroes. They are faced with so many challenges and yet they are present with a positive attitude and ready to succeed. Unfortunately, they struggle with a core skill - Reading.
They are taking Intensive Reading which is a highly differentiated reading class where the lessons are assisted with an online program called Read180 and System44.
These programs are very personalized to the student's specific academic need.
These programs do require a listening and speaking component which is where the earbuds with a mic come in.
