Reading is Dreaming with Open Eyes

My Students

My students are the most unique little people I've ever met! Their eagerness to learn and show their skills is infectious.

It is so much fun to develop relationships with each one of my students individually and to understand their learning styles and difficulties.

Then taking those strengths and weaknesses and growing them into bright young minds!

Helping a child discover their self confidence in the classroom can be a monumental step in their education; I want to help empower their minds.

My Project

The book bins and organizational cart will be used to help develop a love of reading and perfect the students' reading ability. With an organized library, students will be able to quickly locate a book that'll interest them and continue growing their interest in reading.

Differentiation within the phonics center will be accomplished with the phonics bundle!

All students are reading at different levels and fluency, so allowing them access to differentiated instructional materials will allow me to reach every type of reader in my classroom.

The ultimate goal in my class is to help every child love to read!
