My Project

Our school is a vibrant and diverse, Title I-funded school where we believe every student is unique and important. We are committed to fostering a strong foundation in reading and math, holding high expectations for all students, including those in general, special, and gifted education programs.

Many of our students have limited access to books at home, which makes fostering a love of reading a challenge.

We need a solution that makes reading exciting and accessible while also reinforcing positive behavior and academic achievement.

We believe the Inchy’s Bookworm Vending Machine is the perfect solution. As a central part of our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program, students will earn tokens for good behavior, academic achievements, and strong attendance. These tokens can then be used to select brand-new books of their choice from the machine.

This project makes reading fun and serves as a highly visible reward, motivating students and providing them with a diverse selection of books. We are confident this innovative approach will incentivize positive behavior and inspire a lifelong love of reading. Your support will help us put books into our children's hands in a fun and exciting way.
