This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am the luckiest teacher in the world! My scholars are amazing, creative, and eager to learn. They come into 3rd grade with a drive and a passion to learn that is contagious and inspiring. I am an advocate for their learning and hope to inspire a lifelong sense of curiosity and growth.
My scholars bring a wealth of experiences into the classroom which include struggles and obstacles but also stories of bravery, determination, and perseverance!
I am lucky to be the one to highlight these amazing qualities and inspire them to find their path to success.
I look forward to teaching many more generations and continuing to inspire, challenge, and dream together!
My Project
My students will be so excited to have access to comic books that are engaging, interesting, and fun to read! The TOON comic books set will be an amazing addition to my classroom library. It is a collection of 52 books with a wide variety of topics and interests. My current and future students will learn from these amazing books and use them as inspiration for their own writing.
Comic books are an invitation for creativity, dialogue, plot development, and more!
