My Project

I need reading specialist books and a membership to the International Literacy Association so I can stay up to date on the latest reading research. Staying up to date on reading research ensures I can teach my students using researched based methods and keep the teachers in my school up to date on reading research.

As the Reading Interventionist, it is my job to stay informed on reading research.

A membership to the International Literacy Association includes several subscriptions to research journals and it includes professional development. I intend to utilize the journals and professional development as needed to do the best I can to teach students to read. It will also enable me to support the classroom teachers with literacy instruction.
