My Project
We recently adopted a new reading curriculum in our school district. Within the curriculum, there are opportunities to read a short novel, which coincides with the reading material in the curriculum.
"The House on Mango Street" and The Story of My Life" are tied into the variety of reading we do throughout the school year.
With these two sets, my students would be able to see the connections between these books and the reading from the curriculum and make comparisons and contrasts between each text.
Students would also be allowed to use these two books for their book projects we do for each quarter of the school year.
