Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very special because they genuinely have a love for reading. I love when students tell me about what they are reading and make connections without even knowing. I know I have done my job when I walk down the hall and they tell me how much they love their book or the chapter they are on.

My students love bookmarks and the materials in this project will motivate them to want to read more.

Other incentives will also promote more reading among students.

During the last 15 minutes of library visits, students choose their books, find a reading spot and have the option to read with a "stuffy." You would be surprise to know that even 5th graders want to grab a "stuffy" to read with.
