Reading in the Digital Age

My students need an Amazon Fire Tablet and protective case to use in class. We would like to use the technology offered through the tablets features to better analyze and expand our reading digital library.

My Students

My students are so full of spirit and excitement about learning. We have students from a wide range of social and economic backgrounds, but one thing that keeps them bound together is the thirst for knowledge.

I know that our kids are going to change the world!

With every lesson I teach each day, I hold this idea above all others. We need to find ways to inspire and encourage my students in even the hardest situations by exposing them to new ideas and concepts that will help shape and teach them the skills and information they will need as they grow.

My Project

I would love to be able to expose my students to thousands of titles of books while engaging them in a wide range of genres. This tablet would allow us to keep book titles up to date and change the genre depending on students needs and tastes.

We all want our students to be successful readers so they will excel in the future.

I want to ensure that our students have the tools such as this Fire Tablet to get them excited about reading and also want to read more books and articles so we can have discussions in class about what they are reading and learning.
