it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Everyone benefits from a break at some point during their day. My students need these breaks more frequently than the average student. Won't you please help complete our break area with comfy chairs and hardcover books to improve our literacy skills with my students with autism.
All of my students have sensory impairments.
They get over stimulated by noise and lights and get easily frustrated throughout the day. It is important for them to have a safe sensory spot in our room where they can take a sensory break with a quiet and safe reading area.
My Project
This will make the difference in the lives of the students in my room. Some have limited reading skills, and communication and to have materials that will help them sit and relax while reading books will bring smiles to their faces and help in their communication and give them the opportunity to enjoy reading in a quiet and safe area in the classroom.
This will improve the development of my classroom by enhancing their literacy skills by sitting on new bright colorful bean bags with brand new books to read and have a great sensory break.
