My Project
I am seeking funding to provide comfortable seating for students in my classroom.
Many of the chairs currently in use are outdated, uncomfortable, and poorly suited for the long hours students spend sitting each day.
Discomfort from outdated seating often leads to restlessness, back pain, and difficulty concentrating—barriers that directly interfere with learning and classroom engagement. By replacing these chairs with ergonomically designed, student-friendly seating, we can create a more welcoming and effective learning environment. Comfortable seating promotes better posture, reduces physical strain, and enhances students’ ability to focus, participate, and feel at ease throughout the day.
Many of my students face significant challenges outside of school, and having a classroom space that is physically supportive can play a meaningful role in their academic and emotional success. These new chairs will have a direct, positive impact on student learning, helping to create a classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and ready to thrive.
