This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In work in a diverse culture classroom. Many of my students can not speak English. A lot of them request books written in Spanish.
My goal is to help each student develop a love of reading.
By providing them with books in their native language I can open up a whole world of adventure for these students.
These books will be placed in a special section of the classroom and students will be able to read them during out private reading time. I have many of these books written in English and I would like to have students work together on the same book, English and Spanish.
