This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to discuss the books we read. However, they do not always have access to the books through no fault of their own. These books will be used to help the students delve into the story to help them understand literary elements and will also take them on a journey by reading about peers their own age and how the characters navigate through life. The students will be able to connect to the characters socially and emotionally and realize that they are similar to the characters in many aspects.
