Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bilingual students who are learning to read. At home, they don't have many books to read. I have been able to get reading materials in both Spanish and English at many different reading levels. Which to me, was the most important part of helping them learn to love reading, all while growing their vocabulary. I want to create a reading area with kid friendly furniture for when my students read independently. The kids couches and rug will give students a comfortable place to read. I would also like the 3 drawer carts to give my students a place to store their daily items, and this will help them keep their books in a safe place and close to them. The akron mil storage drawers will also help me keep my teaching items organized.
