My Project

After attending a reading conference last week, this project is created to complete an activity that was spoke about from a keynote speaker. It is called a mock Caldecott award trial. This activity will allow children to understand what this award represents, teaching children to love literature, and allowing them to dive into different genres and styles of writing.

This is a great way to motivate readers!

All students love a little competition! With this project funded, I will be able to use this idea and incorporate it into my reading lessons along with the new Caldecott winner of 2023!
