Reading Holiday Books

Help me give my students Christmas and Valentine's Day books to help them reach their reading goals.

My Project

Do you love Christmas and Valentine's Day? Our students are getting into the Christmas spirit early. I am requesting Christmas and Valentine's Day picture books for them to read, do library lessons with, and for students to check out. Our library only gets a small amount of money for books a year. These books will truly be a blessing for our school's library. Our students also use reading as an escape for their mental health.

Reading brings a whole new world to a child.

Getting these books will help my students reach their Accelerated Reader goals that are set each year school-wide. Reading more books has really helped our students in their reading fluency, comprehension, and reading skills. I want them to learn to love reading and continue reading for the rest of their lives.
