This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students love to read. They work hard every day to improve their reading skills. Giving students the opportunity to read books of their choice helps to grow their love of reading. Growing their love of reading will help them read more and in turn, it will promote reading progression.

My students' current obsession is the Goosebumps Series.

We can't keep them on the shelves in the library. All of the books have a wait list and the students can't wait to check out the next book.

I would like to provide my students with books they are interested in in our classroom library.
