My Students

My students are learners who work hard and try their best. We are a Title I site with so many eager learners. My students would love to have more opportunities to learn and grow.

My students are passionate and motivated young learners!

I want to do what I can to provide experiences and materials to empower my students to be lifelong learners.

My Project

Classroom libraries are integral to successful teaching and learning. In my experience, students who have immediate and ongoing access to engaging books in their classrooms exhibit higher reading achievement, better comprehension, and an increased vocabulary.

My students love reading together and a classroom set of books will allow them to not only promote good practices but gain self-esteem as well.

This will allow students to read the same book at the same time, then talk about it between sittings. This type of reading encourages us to be accountable to our classmates and to ourselves.
