My Project
My kindergarten and 1st grade scholars are extremely eager readers. They have an incredible love for learning to read.
Unfortunately, our class library are filled with outdated books. Many do not support early and emergent readers who need phonics-focused materials to help them learn the code to reading.
I plan on using the materials in this project to provide explicit reading instructions to foster strong reading foundational skills for all my scholars. These materials will also be used in small groups as an essential part of our class’ daily reading rotation routine.
