My Students
My students are bright young individuals who demonstrate a passion for learning. Generous donors in the past have supplied a wonderful start to our library, but my avid scholars seek more. They need even more texts to help them understand and challenge not only themselves but the world around them.
Books are a great tool to encourage and foster critical thinking.
The area I teach in has been underserved and my students are underrepresented in many of the curriculums that exist. We need to foster change by giving my students access to a variety of quality texts that empower them.
My Project
The books included in this project are specially handpicked with my unique students in mind. They deserve a collection of books that represent them and teach justice in an age-appropriate manner. These books will help them build skills and mindsets that will set them up for a successful future.
