Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We make reading fun and motivating with treats and snacks. Food is the number one motivator for most humans and we use this to help with learning. We also teach over 80 students how to be the best reader they can be but it takes a little bit of reinforcing with food. After each reading group, we allow our students to take a snack with them as a thank you for doing your very best. Students love to come to reading knowing that after hard work they will receive a special treat to fill their stomachs before lunch or end of day.
