My Students
Do you remember the first time a book taught you something amazing? It's an incredible moment of discovery. My classroom needs more non-fiction books that will pique students' interests and entice them to learn more about the world.
My first graders are eager, hard-working students.
They come from many different countries, including the United States, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Poland, Mexico and more. Many of my students are English language learners; at this age it is amazing to watch how much they grow and learn.
My Project
With these additional titles added to our classroom library, my students will be able to find books to answer many more questions. I want my students to learn that there is a whole world beyond the Internet for finding and enjoying information. These books are visually appealing and very readable for a wide range of learners. The only problem my students will face is having so many great books to choose from!
These books will nurture my students' curiosity and open the door for further inquiry.
By adding these books to my classroom library, you will help make book shopping day the most exciting day for my students! My students will flourish as readers, and more importantly, they will develop a true love of reading and learning.
