This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have students that are truly amazing. They work hard and are very aware of their success. I really want them to succeed in all subjects. Each student has their own unique characteristics and personalities. My students have various issues, but are very smart with each having their own strong points. Each day they desire to learn something new. My students want to impress and learn as much as they can . These students have obstacles to overcome, yet they will make you smile everyday and then shock you with what they can and will accomplish. I believe in setting higher expectations for each of them. They love music, having books read to them, working in groups, doing art, and so much more.

My Project

These Nabi Tablets will make a huge difference in my classroom because of the programs that are already included on the Nabi. I have personally purchased these for all four of my grandsons and their reading abilities went up by one or two grade levels. This will give my students more confidence in there abilities to read, work math problems, listening, science, and social studies. The Nabi is a great tool for special need students because the programs are already on them and they come with a bumper case for protection. I can see my students making great strides with these.
