This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love about my students is the boldness that they bring to my class, see my students are not from a neighborhood that has allowed them to grow like the kids that they are. At their age, they've seen a lot that they have affected them. I teach at an underserved school in East Oakland it's not easy at times I've seen the true raw potential that they already have in themselves. Their wall has been set by the society just alone where they come from my students are brave and adventurous all they want is a chance to show their potential through these resources. These books will open a new way of seeing reading for them.
