Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The more kids read the more they learn...even from personal reading selections. Peering into a book can help students build sustained patience and build their empathy. By reading for fun these students will be practicing their analysis and critical thinking skills as well as their basic comprehension and recall. My project also include storage, stickers and snacks to celebrate our reading milestones.
The best writers started off as good readers, so I want to kids to experience as many books as possible!
By making it fun, tailoring it to my kids' preferences and by adding a snack...this is the recipe for reading success!
