Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students work so hard when they come to my resource groups. They all want to reach their individual goals (IEP goals) and our class goals. They are willing to try their very best to finish assignments and learn new skills in order to achieve success. They want to be the best readers, writers, and mathematicians that they can be.
My students have made each resource group a safe environment for everyone that is in it.
They are willing to help each other out when someone is struggling with a concept, word, or math problem. They cheer each other on to always give their all and to never give up even when things get hard. I am amazed at how kind my students are to each other, and they deserve extra tools to help them reach their potential.
My Project
As a resource teacher, I want to provide inspiring books to my struggling readers so they desire to read at school, at home, and on the weekends. My students are great students willing to work hard to reach their goals and potential, but they need some encouragement from great narratives.
Students deserve great books so they can be encouraged to be their best selves and grow their imagination.
The Classroom Library Must-Haves: Grades 2-3 will benefit my students this year and the years to come. I want my students to be thrilled about using their reading skills as they read amusing books.
