My Project
I am a 3rd and 4th grade teacher on the south side of Chicago. This year I have 7 new students who only speak Spanish. I have a limited number of books in Spanish in my classroom library. My new students are bright students looking for books to read in their native language.
My project will give my students the access to the Spanish books they are eager to read.
It is heartbreaking to have these students so eager to read and learn and not have the resources they desperately need. Thank you for your support.
