Reading for All Social Emotional, Diversity, and Bilingual

Help me give my students new book sets to expand reading for all. To add books relating to social emotional, bilingual, and diversity.

My Project

I have started a reading for all section for the children in my program. I would like to add books on social emotional issues, diversity, and bilingual reading material. Having more reading resources available will help them be more successful students and community members.

My student base consists of children from all backgrounds, Hmong, African American, Hispanic, Indian, and Caucasian and ages 5-12.

These books will help the children read about difficult areas that they may not be comfortable talking about, but, giving them the reading tools may give them the knowledge to work through it. Also, we will be able to use these books to read out loud, having open class discussions.
