Reading for a Change, Part 2!

Help me give my students biographies and picture books about women and men of all different backgrounds who have made a difference or inspired change!

My Project

My students are so eager to understand how history has shaped our cultures and behaviors today! They want to know more about black history, women's history, and how our laws and beliefs have been challenged and changed throughout history.

We need picture books and lower-level biographies about strong women and men, people who fight and have fought for human injustices, and stories of how our nation has changed and evolved.

These picture books and lower-level biographies will appeal to all of our students, no matter their age or reading level, and will spark conversations for deeper exploration and critical thinking about how the past can shape the future.
