My Students
My students are so smart and creative. I teach at a Title I school. Many students receive free breakfast and lunch. Their families are barely getting by and can not afford school supplies for the classroom. These students love to learn. I want to help them reach their goals and build the confidence needed for an amazing future. My school is rated a "B." I want to help my school become an "A" by giving my students resources to increase their math and reading skills.
My Project
For Christmas this year, I want to create a classroom library for my students. I have an outdated library. While I am grateful for the books that people donated to me, the students are not interested in the books. I want to revamp my library with current bestsellers and oldies but goodies. My students made a book wish list at the beginning of the year. It is time to grant those wishes. Help me start the New Year off right by taking my students' imaginations on a wild ride. There is nothing better than diving into a good book.
