Students at my school come together from varied backgrounds, cultures, and abilities to create a beautiful community that we call home. We offer different learning experiences for students based on family interest, a student’s learning preference, best fit for achievement, happiness, and overall school success.
My students are curious about how the world works.
I try to foster that curiosity through their exploration of our outdoor environment and through physical fitness activities.
My Project
We want to teach our students about varying cultures of the world! By doing this, they can see how children live differently all over the globe but still experience and feel things just like they do.
We will also teach them to process their emotions as they compare and contrast their environment with others.
We hope they learn to appreciate the many good things we have in our country as well as learning about the hardships we have overcome in our history.
As we address these issues, the students can learn and practice interpersonal problem-solving skills as they learn to understand their own and others' emotions.
