This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first graders are passionate about reading. They love to curl up with a good book! A couch will provide a great space to dig into those books. They love sharing their stories with friends as well.
We would also love a couch for a flexible space to read.
It will be used everyday as a space to sit and read with friends. This will encourage fluency, comprehension and building relationships with classmates. Help me give my first graders an environment where they can grow and thrive! Help us be better readers!
