Reading Corner!

Help me give my students an organized reading corner! We have been using old library shelves that take up so much space in our room. These book shelves and cozy seats will give students a welcoming reading nook.

My Project

My class of 21 diverse learners absolutely love our reading corner! Each day, the students get 20 minutes to dive into a book of their choice. What makes this time great is that they get to relax and take a break from the rest of the school day. The students get access to a variety of books, which introduces them to genres they might not have been interested in before. A new book shelf would give them a better chance of finding books that they wouldn't have gravitated to before. It will allow the books to be out on display for the students to see.
