My Students

Students at our high school are diverse, strong, wise beyond their years, and full of grit! Help me get my students back on track by inspiring a love for literature with modern, interesting young adult titles. These students have been staring at screens for an entire year, now I'd like to have them staring at pages of beautifully written literature.

I have no doubt that my students will rise to the occasion and give it their all!

My Project

With the help of DonorsChoose 144 new, young adult novels will be arriving in my classroom this fall! These titles are modern, diverse, best sellers that will reignite a love for reading in my students. Help me complete my classroom dream of a reading corner with book shelves for these new titles.

A comfortable space where these books can be organized for my students will make a big difference in creating a classroom environment that encourages reading.
