My students have a love of learning! They come in each day eager to learn and thrive. Our great school is in a small, rural community where staff and community members work together to give each child the best learning experience possible. My students feel successful every day!

My Project
The reading nook promotes a welcoming environment for our students to gain an interest in reading, develop their language skills and practice their social skills with their peers. The reading nook can provide an organized space where a variety of books are located for our students to access at any point during their day at school. Students could have the space to have a relaxing spot to flip through books with their friends. It can also serve as a calming space whenever a student needs a break. Our students can also develop their language skills by reading familiar and fun books. The reading nook can also be a space for students to share their favorite books with each other and encourage the value in books and reading.
